Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of people living with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities to participate in various learning programs, recreational activities, and social events aligned with their NDIS goals.
  • Help individuals develop daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting to achieve their NDIS goals.
  • Assist with aspects of personal care where required to meet individual needs.
  • Support with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections through socializing and outings.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and engage them in daily activities such as going for walks, movies, or other leisure activities.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
  • The capacity to meet physical requirements, including manual handling tasks.
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain necessary certifications, including Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, and National Criminal History Check.
