About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced communications professional to join our team as Senior Communication Strategist. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans that enhance our reputation and build trust with stakeholders.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead our communications function and make a significant impact on the organization's success. You will work closely with our senior executives and government officials to develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with our business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement. They will possess strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans that enhance our reputation and build trust with stakeholders
  • Lead our media relations efforts and manage our media profile
  • Provide counsel to senior executives on communications matters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in media relations, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, media, public relations or journalism, or equivalent experience
