Key Responsibilities- Compile and analyse sales data to inform business decisions
- Monitor and evaluate competitive activity, customer trends, and market dynamics
- Provide actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teams
- Forecast demand, revenue, and expenses
- Determine sales potential and make recommendations
- Prepare detailed reports on consumer behaviour, competitors' activities, outcomes, and sales
- Monitor customer bases and identify new ones
- Collaborate with the marketing team to inform and develop marketing strategies
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Ambition to progress to Sales management level
- Strong computer and analytical capabilities
- Experience in preparing and presenting detailed reports on sales, consumer behaviour, and market trends
- Proven experience in compiling and analysing sales and market data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and presenting findings
- Ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner
- Strong ability to analyse complex data sets and extract actionable insights
- Self-motivated, confident, and capable of engaging at all levels
- Ability to identify value-enhancing opportunities
The Sales and Market Analyst will work closely with various departments within Puma Energy, including Commercial, Credit and Finance, Marketing, Terminal/Operations Staff, Sales Support, and Head Office Personnel. External relationships will be established with existing and new customers, suppliers, business groups, networks, and marketing companies.
