What to Expect

As a marine technician apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team on a range of jobs covering yacht engine, transmissions, electricals, and running gear. You will support our team to troubleshoot and repair complex marine systems, while developing your technical skills and knowledge.

You will work closely with our team to share knowledge and ensure high-quality outcomes, while taking responsibility for your own tasks and ownership of your work. You will be a clear communicator and well-presented, able to speak with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting technicians with testing and troubleshooting marine engines and electrical systems
  • Learning to perform service and repair on engines, transmissions, and running gear
  • Developing strong hands-on technical skills and problem-solving abilities
Requirements
  • Working towards or interest in a trade qualification as a marine mechanic or diesel mechanic
  • Strong desire to develop technical skills and knowledge
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Promote values of customer orientation, safety, quality, and innovation
