About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Project Lead to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our Capital Markets division, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of digital products that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Your primary focus will be on managing projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they meet project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop project plans, manage project risk, and resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of end-to-end project management experience in IT software implementation projects for banking/capital markets. They will possess extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines, as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Manage project risk and assist with problem resolution.
  • Work closely with clients, local colleagues, and the wider global team to manage significant projects.
  • Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of end-to-end Project Management experience in IT Software Implementation Projects for Banking/Capital Markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles.
  • Advanced skills with project management software.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business Administration, or equivalent experience - PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.
