About the Role:


WeLink Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accounts and Payroll Officer to join a leading utilities company in Inner-West Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivables, overseeing weekly payroll, and providing updates to the management team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Review and log employee and sub-contractor timesheets.
  • Oversee the weekly payroll process for all staff.
  • Manage office administration, including the safe storage of data.
  • Maintain asset and leave registers.
  • Monitor the fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Prepare and deliver fortnightly updates to PM's and Directors.
  • Support the team with ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:



  • Previous experience as an accounts and/or payroll officer.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial management expertise.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and accounting software (MYOB/Xero).
  • A confident and well-spoken communicator.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A team player who is organised and punctual.
