About The Role

The Physiotherapy Team Leader is responsible for leading the provision of physiotherapy services to improve and maintain the mobility, independence, and positive wellbeing of residents.

You will break new ground to help develop our Allied Health program in the Toowoomba region, using your experience and innovative ideas.

In this role, you will:

  • Assess individual physiotherapy needs of residents
  • Develop physiotherapy programs in consultation with residents and other care staff and health professionals
  • Provide leadership of the team within the area of responsibility
  • Facilitate the achievement of organisational strategies and delivery of high-quality services
  • Provide physiotherapy in accordance with programs and resident care plans
  • Review and evaluate physiotherapy programs regularly to ensure effective treatment
  • Promote health prevention issues relevant to residents in an aged care setting
  • Develop falls prevention strategies for individual residents
  • Maintain accurate documentation and write reports relevant to care plans
