As a key leader in government communications, you will guide and inspire a talented team to deliver innovative engagement.

About the Role
  • This is an opportunity to shape narratives and manage high-profile communications, working closely with executives, ministerial staff, and stakeholders across Queensland.

You will lead a high-performing team of communication strategists and technical experts to deliver impactful engagement. This includes overseeing multiple complex projects simultaneously and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-energy team culture.

About You
  • You have experience leading high-performing teams and guiding diverse technical experts.
  • You possess strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and business processes.
  • You are an innovative and creative problem-solver, able to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.

In this role, you will play a key part in the Communication business group, contributing to cultural strategies that prioritise psychological safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The team is responsible for delivering media, content, events, and strategic engagement that puts people at the heart of policy and service delivery. They work closely with stakeholders across Queensland to achieve this goal.
