We are seeking a Sonographer to join our Medical Imaging team on a part-time ongoing basis.

Job Description

This role involves working as a part-time Sonographer in the Medical Imaging Department, providing high-quality imaging services to patients and referrers.

  • Deliver evidence-based practice in Medical Imaging procedures and interventions for all patients attending the hospital.
  • Provide efficient and high-quality imaging services, including staff recruitment, training, and performance management in accordance with hospital policies and external professional bodies.
  • Model a commitment to continuing professional development and support junior staff in developing and accomplishing professional goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership in clinical, daily workflow, and administrative duties, managing a complex and varied clinical caseload.

Key Requirements:

  • A postgraduate diploma (or equivalent) in Sonography with a suitable undergraduate degree.
  • Accreditation with the Australian Society of Allied Health Professionals (ASAR).
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in Sonography.
  • Previous paediatric experience is preferred but not essential.
