About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and supporting the design and drafting of vessels from concept through to delivery.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet the standards of regulatory authorities.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate information and documentation that meets procedural and auditable requirements.
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality construction outputs on time.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks and activities.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of production methods, design software, and fitout products.
  • Communicate effectively through drawings, verbal, and written means with all necessary parties.
  • Contribute to innovation and improvement initiatives, seeking alternate methods of performing tasks.
Required Skills / Experience / Attributes
  • Interior design/outfitting qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience in design within the marine industry.
  • A solid understanding of production methods and the practical application of design.
  • Proficient in design software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft office suite.
  • Technical knowledge of fitout products.
  • Design support for production, commissioning, and delivery.
  • Good understanding of data and document management principles.
  • Construction white card.
