Senior Civil Engineer Role Description:

The National engineering consultancy seeks an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to manage small and medium scale projects, including Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Governmental sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for project management, production of detailed engineering drawings, critically assessing and reviewing designs, contract management and commercial acumen.

  • Project Management: Lead small and medium scale projects with a strong focus on Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Governmental sectors.
  • Detailed Engineering Drawings: Produce high-quality engineering drawings across various civil design disciplines, including hydrology and hydraulics, earthworks, retaining walls, sewer and water reticulation, roads and pavements.
  • Design Review and Problem Solving: Critically assess and review designs from other team members, applying problem-solving skills and driving solutions.
  • Contract Management and Commercial Acumen: Manage contracts, demonstrate commercial awareness and knowledge of construction methods.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in a QLD consulting engineering company, hold a Civil Engineering Degree and possess strong technical capability and communication skills.
