We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and drive the delivery of high-quality data operations solutions using ETL tools.

Your Role

You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for CommBank's key analytics capabilities, working on world-leading capabilities for analytics, information management, and decisioning. Your experience in building ETL applications, deploying and managing large-scale complex big data applications on Cloudera Hadoop, will be invaluable to us.

What You'll Possess

  • A strong background in ETL tools, scripting in Python, Bash & PowerShell, and production support experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in build, deploy, release management, and containerisation of applications on Cloudera Hadoop or similar big data platforms.
  • Extensive experience with platform management, operational or production support for complex big data platforms.
  • Commendable skills in Linux/Unix, automation, and configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Ab Initio experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
