Epiq, a leading provider of transcription services, has offices across Australia offering court reporting, e-discovery, e-trials, and transcription services to government agencies, law firms, and corporates.

We are seeking a full-time transcription professional to join our Canberra office, working Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities

Transcription professionals produce accurate and timely transcripts in various styles and formats, utilizing different audio types and production tools. Transcripts must meet contractual and client-driven deadlines with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Some transcription material may include distressing or sensitive content.

About the Position
  • Availability to work in office full-time, Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm
  • Typing speed of 70 wpm+
  • Excellent English vocabulary and grammar
  • Ability to use computers and proficiency in MS Word
  • Residency in Australia
  • Willingness to obtain an NV2 security clearance, which will be paid for by our organization
  • Occasional interstate travel (estimated 2-3 times per year for 2-3 days at a time)
  • Prior experience in audio transcription is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
