About the Role

We are seeking a skilled E&I Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team at UGL Defence. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment, as well as diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct diagnostics and repair of fuel-related assets and equipment in a breakdown environment, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Participate in project work as required, including installation and maintenance of fuel-related assets and equipment.
  • Support subcontracted work packages as needed, collaborating with other teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Travel to various sites in the Shoalhaven region and throughout NSW as required, to support our customers and ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Cert IV Instrumentation and A-grade electrical licence with relevant post-trade experience.
  • Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, preferably in fuel services or Oil & Gas.
  • Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) training is required.
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets are highly regarded.
  • Safety is paramount in this role, and you must be committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Current Defence Security Clearance is essential, with the ability to obtain clearance if not already held.
