You will be essential in shaping our team dynamics by mentoring junior staff and managing a diverse portfolio of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Within the Business Restructuring division, you will oversee and advance formal insolvency processes, including voluntary administrations, receiverships, and liquidations. Your daily tasks will encompass:
- Developing and proposing strategies for intricate issues that enhance client value
- Managing engagements with a focus on risk management, work-in-progress oversight, and related duties
- Crafting and refining financial models (including three-way cash flow models) and reporting frameworks
- Coordinating and drafting independent business evaluations, safe harbour assessments, and related proposals
- Communicating with lenders and creditors
- Identifying and pursuing legal claims and investigations promptly
- Cultivating and nurturing existing and new professional relationships
- Guiding, coaching, and mentoring team members
Qualifications for Success:
Candidates should possess relevant tertiary qualifications and be CA/CPA certified (or in the process of obtaining ARTITA certification). A solid understanding of the corporate landscape, particularly in voluntary administrations, liquidations, and receiverships, along with knowledge of personal insolvency, is essential.
Collaborating with solicitors, directors, banks, and creditors, you will need to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and persuasive abilities, coupled with adept problem-solving and investigative skills. Financial analytical expertise will be crucial in supporting our clients. Additionally, effective people management skills will be advantageous in fostering a collaborative team environment.
