Transportation Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to drive a school-owned coach, providing a safe transportation service for our community.

Shift Options:

- Option 1: Full-time shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (12-hour shift). The person will assist with excursions, perform facility maintenance, or support other duties during non-driving hours.

- Option 2: Part-time shift from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM (6.5-hour shift). Additional hours may be required for excursions, sports, or events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hold a valid Driver Authorisation (DA)
  • Hold a valid HR licence
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • A good clean driving history
  • Ability to be flexible with predominantly Monday-to-Friday work, but some weekend or evening work may be required
  • Sound knowledge of the surrounding suburbs
  • Bus and Coach driving experience
  • Willingness to assist with other duties as required
  • Some computer literacy ideal
  • Fully supportive of equality, respect, and humility in the workplace

About the Role:

The successful candidate will operate a school-owned coach, ensuring a safe and efficient transportation service for our students. The role requires flexibility, good communication skills, and a willingness to work independently.

Requirements:

  • A current Working With Children (WWC) Check
  • The right to work in Australia
  • A copy of your driving record history
  • Years of experience as a School Bus Driver
  • First Aid accreditations
  • A heavy vehicle driver's licence
  • Customer service experience
  • Notice period with your current employer
