We are seeking a talented educator to join our team as a Learning Facilitator. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing student learning and wellbeing by developing and implementing teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs and strengths of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging learning outcomes that apply knowledge of the content and teaching strategies.
  • Prioritise the diverse needs and strengths of our students and develop tailored teaching strategies.
  • Apply effective teaching strategies to integrate ICT into learning and teaching programs, making selected content relevant and meaningful.
  • Use diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to assess student learning.
  • Participate in professional development to update knowledge and practice, targeted to your needs and school priorities.
  • Model and live our values and behaviours.

You will be working with lower primary years from Prep – Year 2, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
  • A generalist classroom teacher with a sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the primary years.
  • Experience with the IB PYP Program would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire children and colleagues alike.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage workload.
  • A current VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications.
