Senior Medical Officer and Specialist Roles

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Medical Officers and Specialists to join our dynamic team at Mater Hospital Springfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for medical professionals to be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare, as we open our state-of-the-art hospital in early 2026.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, providing high-quality care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Job Description:

We are looking for medical professionals who are passionate about clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centred care. The ideal candidate will have Registration as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Authority (AHPRA) or soon to be registered as a Specialist.

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a variety of specialties, including intensive care, obstetrics & gynaecology, orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, urology, and plastics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold/be eligible for a visa that allows you to work as a doctor in Australia.

  • You must also have relevant postgraduate qualifications and experience in your chosen specialty.
