Job Overview

Australian Garnet has been operating its garnet processing plant at Lucky Bay Mine for two years. The onsite team is responsible for mining, wet processing, dry and packaging plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise mechanical maintenance activity on site.
  • Ensure mechanical availability of all equipment.
  • Liaison with Processing & Maintenance teams via frequent communication.
  • Coordinate and plan maintenance work on site.
  • Meet requirements of MSIA/MSIR.
  • Oversee cleanliness of maintenance and site facilities.
  • Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Manage maintenance costs within budgeted aims.
  • Monitor performance of maintenance work and provide feedback.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant Mechanical trade or tertiary engineer qualified.
  • Current C Class Drivers license, HR License advantageous.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Suite and Pronto.
