Job Title

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Project Director to oversee specific strategic operational transformation projects.

The Project Director will be responsible for managing the identification, planning, and delivery of projects and programs that align with long-term business operational strategies.

This role entails collaborating with other departments to ensure that initiatives are in line with overall business objectives and direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver multiple projects and programs concurrently.
  • Scope, plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of project and program lifecycle, from design to delivery.
  • Strategic thinking and understanding organizational goals and how to deliver within the project.
  • Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business.
  • Align project deliverables to ensure they realise the business strategy.
  • Define and implement quality requirements to ensure project success.
  • Support the delivery of successful transformation by integrating change management into the project and governance framework.
  • Lead allocated team members including performance management, TDSP, and recruitment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least ten years' experience in a project management role in heavy equipment manufacturing, supply chain operations, or similar.
  • Formal qualification in project management (PMP preferred).
  • Demonstrable project management, transformation, and change management skills and experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in undertaking engineering projects with a strong preference to civil and structural.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across a business.
