Expert Food Technologist Role

This expert food technologist position plays a pivotal role in enhancing food safety, extending shelf life, and improving operational outcomes for customers.

  • Apply food technology principles to develop tailored solutions for packaging, processing, and preservation.
  • Configure equipment, including Thermoforming, Traysealing, Chamber Machines, Slicing, and MUMI systems.
  • Manage technical projects from concept to installation, ensuring stakeholder coordination, timelines, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to deliver aligned solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Conduct machine, packaging, and shelf-life trials to validate applications and recommend improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver innovative packaging, processing, and value-adding solutions.
  • Provide expert technical advice on food technology and related topics.
  • Support the sales team in developing tailored solutions and attending customer meetings.
  • Participate in equipment installations and commissioning, including planning, freight coordination, and onsite setup.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of food technology principles and practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing technical projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other performance tools.
  • Experience working with equipment and software a plus.
