The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to provide support to our dynamic team. The clinic offers a mixed demographic with a focus on patients aged 25-44. Our best practice software and 15-minute consultation times ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. The team is led by a professional Practice Manager and supported by administrative staff.

The clinic provides a wide range of services, including minor surgical procedures, childhood immunisations, driving licence medicals, iron infusions, spirometry, skin checks, and ECGs. A previous locum has praised the workload as manageable and the team as extremely supportive.

We require a minimum of 3 weeks' cover, with the option to work part-time. Accommodation and travel budgets will be adjusted accordingly. The clinic is situated approximately 15 minutes from Townsville's CBD and 4.5 kilometres from JCU Townsville University Hospital.

To be eligible for this position, you must have unrestricted specialist registration with AHPRA and full Australian working rights.
