Prospero Health & Social Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to oversee operations at our residential aged care facility. With a legacy of over 50 years in providing exceptional care services, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our elderly clients through various care programs.
Our organization emphasizes the importance of delivering care with dignity, respect, and security, whether in residential settings or through community services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring effective management and financial oversight of the facility. You will collaborate closely with a Care Manager who will handle the clinical responsibilities of the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the aged care facility
- Provide leadership and support to staff members
- Ensure compliance with quality and accreditation standards
- Facilitate a collaborative environment for a multidisciplinary team
- Oversee the ACFI/AN-ACC processes
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in residential aged care management
- Cert IV in Leadership and Management is preferred
- Strong background in staff management and team support
- Comprehensive understanding of aged care accreditation standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
- Full working rights in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of one year experience in a Facility Manager role
- Current APHRA Registration
