Job Overview

Main Responsibilities

The Director of Corporate Services and Operations leads a multi-disciplinary team responsible for people management, information technology, procurement, risk management, finance, internal audit, project delivery, and legislation access functions. The role provides customer-focused corporate and operational services to enable the agency to meet its objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the strategic direction, planning, decision making, and overall performance of the agency's Corporate Services and Operations functions and team, ensuring strong customer service and support of agency objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve work practices, systems, and processes across the agency to ensure high-quality services and outcomes.
  • Model best practice employee management and act as a thought leader for all aspects of an integrated corporate services and operations function.
  • Lead the agency's risk, finance, and internal audit functions, including ensuring necessary risk management, governance frameworks, and financial systems.
  • Initiate and lead consultations, collaboration, and negotiations with internal and external services and operation strategies.
