  1. Manage and provide technical direction to development control, access control, ancillary works, and encroachments control and services liaison activities to optimise outcomes and support responsible decision-making.
  2. Lead the corridor management team in close collaboration with advisors and other key stakeholders.
  3. Provide technical, legislative, and policy advice on assessment of development applications and road corridor management issues impacting state-managed transport corridors.
  4. Offer guidance on planning and design suitability and options, materials, resources, components, quality, environmental aspects, and construction practices.
  5. Lead and manage operational aspects of the corridor management team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  6. Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements necessary to support effective decisions and actions.
  7. Supervise and coordinate resource allocation to promote organisational objectives.
  8. Identify and manage networks and alliances of stakeholders, addressing expectations and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Qualifications and Conditions
  • A four-year Washington Accord accredited Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Current holder of car driver's licence.
  • A criminal history check prior to appointment due to sensitive data access.
