Job Title: Container Unloading Specialist

Are you a skilled labourer or forklift operator looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking experienced individuals to join our team as Container Unloading Specialists.

Job Description:

We are responsible for unloading products from shipping containers onto pallets. This involves manually lifting and placing heavy loads, using shrink wrap to secure palletised goods, and operating forklifts to unload palletised goods using container ramps.

Responsibilities:

  • Unload product from shipping containers onto pallets;
  • Manually lift loads (up to 25kg);
  • Use of shrink wrap to secure palletised goods;
  • Operate forklifts to unload palletised goods using container ramps; and,
  • Use forklifts to attach container ramp to shipping containers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a labourer or forklift operator. You must be a proactive and self-motivating individual with a can-do attitude and continuous improvement mindset.

You will also require good literacy and numeracy skills, a current Drivers Licence, and your own reliable transport. Additionally, you must be physically fit and able to continuously lift loads up to 25kg.
