Permanent Educator

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Educator to join our team at Ipswich Junior Grammar School Helping Hands. As a key member of our Outside School Hours Care service, you will play a vital role in providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.
As a Permanent Educator, you will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours, Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm – 6:15pm (Stay and Play Program). You will have the opportunity to pick up extra hours during the school holidays.
About the TeamYou will be part of a team of skilled Educators, working closely with a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft
- Fostering healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Working with a team of skilled Educators onsite

You will need to hold or be willing to obtain a national police check and a state check for working with children, as well as Australian work rights.
