We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Certifier to join our team at AIBS. As a Building Certifier, you will play a critical role in ensuring that buildings are constructed and maintained in accordance with the National Construction Code and Building Code of Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Review and approve building plans and documentation
  • Issue certificates of occupancy and other relevant documentation
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and builders to resolve any compliance issues

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Building Certification
  • Demonstrated experience as a Level 1 Commercial Certifier
  • Strong knowledge of National Construction Code and Building Code of Australia
  • Demonstrated technical expertise
  • Passionate about the industry and outcomes for valuable clientele
  • Self-managed to deliver certification services to optimum timelines
  • Proactive nature offering suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Strong desire to work with a focused and collaborative team

Licences & Memberships:

  • White card (or state equivalent)
  • Current driver's licence
