Job Title: Community Engagement Liaison Officer

As a Place Liaison Officer, you will be working closely with local community groups, community members and organisations to ensure effective communication and collaboration. You will work within the Parramatta Square precinct, focusing on maintaining strong relationships between stakeholders.

The role involves engaging with diverse individuals including commercial tenants, young people, rough sleepers and other community members. You will also engage with people experiencing homelessness, linking them with relevant services and pathways to exit homelessness.

Key aspects of your role include:

  • Maintaining positive relationships with vulnerable individuals and groups
  • Liaising with internal staff and external partners to ensure optimal operation of the precinct
  • Working collaboratively with community groups and members to improve public spaces and reduce anti-social behaviour

We are seeking an individual who is proactive, able to think critically and adapt to various situations. You will have experience in providing professional service, building and managing partnerships with stakeholders.
