About Us

We are a leading painting company serving homeowners, real estate agents, business owners, builders and tenants in the Northern Rivers.

Job Summary

As a skilled painter, your duties will include preparing walls and other surfaces through sanding, taping off outlets, repairing cracks, etc. You will use various tools to achieve the desired finish of painted surfaces, set up and take down additional equipment as needed, maintain all tools and equipment, perform final inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of work, and follow workplace safety rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by sanding, taping off outlets, and repairing cracks.
  • Use various tools to apply paint and achieve the desired finish.
  • Set up and take down additional equipment as needed.
  • Maintain all tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Perform final inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
  • Follow workplace safety rules and regulations at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of work experience (5+ years highly preferred).
  • Attention to detail and focus on finishing tasks to a high standard.
  • Ability to liaise and build upon relationships with clients.
  • Organisational skills and cleanliness.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
