We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Consultant. As a key member of our Tax Services team, you will provide tax advice and support to clients across various industries.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level tax advice, researching and analyzing tax legislation, gathering information from clients, explaining options, and advising on next steps.
To succeed in this position, you will require relevant tertiary education, postgraduate qualifications (CA, CTA, or Masters of Tax), and experience in generalist Tax Consulting roles within an accounting and advisory firm.
You should possess good knowledge of Australian tax laws, client-focused skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level tax advice to diverse clients
- Research and analyze tax legislation
- Gather information from clients and explain options
- Prepare tax compliance documentation
- Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients
About You
- Relevant tertiary degree
- Postgraduate qualification (CA, CTA, or Masters of Tax) completed or in progress
- Experience in generalist Tax Consulting role within an accounting and advisory firm
- Good knowledge of Australian tax laws
- Client-focused with strong written and verbal communication skills
