We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our team as a Staff Software Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and experience with cloud-based services such as AWS.

About the Role:

The Staff Software AI Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning models. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop AI Models: Design and develop complex AI and ML models that integrate with existing systems and support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
  • Deploy AI Models: Deploy AI models in production environments, ensuring robustness and scalability.
  • Research and Development: Lead research initiatives to explore new AI models and methodologies that can be applied to current and future products.

Tech Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, expertise in MLOps, and experience with cloud-based services such as AWS.
  • Machine Learning: Strong commercial experience implementing solutions using LLM models, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and traditional machine learning techniques.
  • DevSecOps: Demonstrated experience in DevSecOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and security practices.
  • Big Data Platform: Experience with big data platform technologies such as Spark framework, Iceberg file formats, Redshift, and relational databases.

About Us:

We offer a hybrid approach to work, with at least half your time spent connecting in office. We also provide flexible working options, including changing start and finish times, part-time arrangements, and job share.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, superannuation, and generous leave entitlements.
