About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our diagnostic imaging department. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week, with a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site Clerical Team and providing support and mentoring to the site reception teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the site Clerical Team and provide training and development opportunities
- Provide support and guidance to the site reception teams
- Ensure practice revenue cycle is managed effectively
- Lead by example and maintain high standards of customer service delivery
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and satisfaction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in radiology administration
- Experience using RIS platforms, preferably Karisma
- Knowledge of all radiology billing policies and procedures, including Medicare, DVA, Work Cover and Inpatient billing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
