Recreation Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in delivering quality support services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with participants to achieve positive outcomes, including employability skills, social skills, independence, personal development, and improved quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to participants with high needs, including behavioral support and personal care assistance.
• Foster participant engagement and empowerment through group-based activities and one-on-one supports.
• Collaborate with case managers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of support services.
• Accurately record participant case notes, adhering to legislative requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A current Full Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
• Meet the current COVID-19 Vaccine requirement or have a valid medical exemption.
• Hold relevant NDIS/DHS clearances.
• Possess current First Aid, Manual Handling, and Child Safe Environments Certificates.
• Demonstrate experience in interpreting and referencing clinical support plans.
