We are seeking skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work in Residential SIL homes in Toowoomba, providing daily personal care and support to clients with disabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care as required, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections.
- Supporting daily activities, such as going for walks, attending movies, or accompanying appointments.
- Maintaining connections with family, friends, and services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience.
- Experience and empathy in providing high-quality support in a SIL environment or with complex disabilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks.
