Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Device Engineering Manager to lead our hardware development initiatives and coordinate technical activities across our connected wearable device portfolio.

This role involves shaping the company's hardware strategy and execution, overseeing the technical coordination of in-market wearable devices, and driving the development of next-generation connected safety solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical component research and supplier relationship management, as well as experience with firmware development coordination and device certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical coordination activities for existing smartwatch portfolios and oversee development of new connected wearable device categories.
  • Manage relationships and technical coordination with OEM partners, ensuring quality delivery of hardware solutions.
  • Coordinate development, testing, and certification of new firmware versions by OEMs, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Requirements:Essential Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in device engineering or hardware product management, with a focus on consumer electronics and IoT/4G devices.
  • Proven experience leading development of new consumer electronic devices from concept to market with OEMs overseas and partners closer to home.
  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating international, cross-functional teams.
Desirable Skills:
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese for effective communication with Shenzhen-based OEM partners.
  • Programming experience in C and Android development for firmware and device integration.
