ICT Systems Engineer Job Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an ICT Systems Engineer to design and develop engineered systems including software, hardware, and cyber infrastructure.

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team in the development of ICT system upgrades and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engineering governance, design assurance, and requirements documentation.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related fields and specialist experience in Linux & Windows, Cisco, DevOps & Programming, and VMWare.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who can work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop engineered systems—software, hardware, and cyber infrastructure.
  • Develop engineering governance, design assurance, and requirements documentation for ICT system upgrades and projects.
  • Provide input and review of technical designs and solutions for ICT systems.
  • Install new software, hardware, and equipment, and provide ongoing maintenance and support.
  • Design tests to verify system performance.
  • Manage ICT Engineering Changes through the Change Control Board (CCB).
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Specialist experience in Linux & Windows, Cisco, DevOps & Programming, and VMWare.
  • Australian citizenship and a minimum NV2 clearance.
