About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Brandt Tractor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the compact construction equipment market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Brandt Tractor in the sale of compact construction equipment to customers within a designated geographic area.
  • Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  • Implement and maintain regular call cycles within a given area of responsibility.
  • Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management, accordingly.
  • Maintain all customer information in the assigned territory for sales management.
  • Know and follow a defined sales process.
  • Achieve sales objectives set by Brandt Tractor as part of the sales planning process, including but not limited to market share.
  • Maintain assigned company vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
  • Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.
  • Report to Brandt Tractor as directed, including by way of sales reports as managers require.
  • Maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
Requirements
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
