Home Furnishings Sales Associate Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Home Furnishings Sales Associate.

Job Summary:

  • This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in retail, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide top-notch customer service and engage with customers to understand their needs.
  2. Assist with visual merchandising standards and maintain a well-organized showroom floor.
  3. Process sales, quotes, and invoices efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
  4. Prepare and assemble furniture for customers, ensuring accurate pricing and labeling.
  5. Post advertisements for products on online platforms.

Requirements:

  • Prior retail experience, preferably in the bedding or furniture industry.
  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail skills.
  • Understanding of visual merchandising principles.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Computer literacy and ability to navigate our point-of-sale system.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Casual employment arrangement.
  • 8-hour shifts, averaging 22.5-30 hours per week.
  • Ability to work weekends is desirable.
  • Preference given to applicants with Australia-based work authorization.
