Heavy Machinery Operator

Fundamental to our operations is the efficient use of heavy machinery, and we are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join our team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a passion for operating large-scale equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and meeting productivity targets while maintaining a safe working environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily inspections and pre-start checks of equipment.
  • Operating 90T Loaders safely and efficiently.
  • Participating in rehabilitation projects.
  • Operating ancillary equipment when required.
  • Regular housekeeping and cleaning of machinery.

To be successful in this role, you will require extensive experience in operating heavy machinery and equipment in a production setting. Relevant skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven track record of operating excavators, diggers, and other mobile plant equipment.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work in a safe manner.
  • Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hold a current C class drivers license.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OHS requirements.
