Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Specialist

The Role:
We seek a seasoned Cyber Threat Intelligence expert to design and establish a sustainable CTI practice that adheres to the Australian Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) in conjunction with our team of dedicated cybersecurity specialists.
- Develop a capability that satisfies Monash University's CTI requirements, including vulnerability lifecycle compliance.
- Focusing on the Australian threat landscape, with an expanding global focus in the near future.
This role demands a CTI and DISP professional who can operate independently to resolve problems, analyze data, and communicate complex ideas effectively.
The Cyber Threat Intelligence Leader will collaborate with other cybersecurity teams, technology units, business stakeholders, and industry experts to champion CTI and DISP compliance activities across the university.
- Significant knowledge and experience in IT, cybersecurity, and vulnerability management principles, practices, relevant standards, and legislation.
- Advanced understanding and experience of Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIP) such as MISP, EclecticIQ.
- Experience working with leading vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, ORCA among others.
- A strong grasp of DISP requirements, geopolitical landscape compliance processes, government relations, and relevant Australian security frameworks and Monash policies.
