Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide coaching and guidance to caregivers in delivering high-quality care services. As a coach, you will be responsible for mentoring caregivers, providing personalized support, and helping them develop their skills and manage challenges in their roles.

The role requires working closely with caregivers to address concerns, provide practical solutions, and enhance their caregiving experience. You will also need to travel between various locations in Brisbane North, Central, and Ipswich suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to caregivers to ensure they deliver quality care services.
  • Support caregivers in sharing experiences, concerns, and emotions, and provide advice and encouragement.
  • Conduct training sessions on client-specific requirements and equipment in the client's home.
  • Monitor caregiver progress, provide feedback, and make adjustments to ensure quality of care.
  • Assist the People and Culture team by maintaining records and ensuring documentation is up-to-date.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care with exposure to dementia care, palliative care, and end-of-life care.
  • CERT 3 in Individual Support is highly desirable.
  • Experience using equipment related to Aged Care (lifting hoists, mobility, disability, and rehabilitation equipment).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate caregivers.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • A valid Australian driver's license.
  • A reliable car and mobile phone.
