Job Title: Qualified Baker

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Qualified Baker to join our team at Woolworths Supermarkets. As a Qualified Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, working early morning shifts, including Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and quality while ensuring a safe and clean working area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, quality, and customer service
Requirements:
  • Australian Trade/Proficiency Certificate III in Retail Baking (Breadmaking) or equivalent
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship within Australia
  • Proven experience in a bakery or related environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
