This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Australian commercial law firm delivering corporate commercial legal services nationwide.

The role involves working on high-profile mid-market transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, general corporate and commercial advisory, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, equity capital markets (ECM) transactions, joint ventures & strategic alliances, IPOs and secondary capital raisings, and due diligence & drafting reports.

The team handles both domestic and cross-border deals, providing exposure to sophisticated legal work and the chance to collaborate with top-tier clients.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a motivated and skilled corporate lawyer with 3+ years' experience in front-end corporate law (open to lawyers with up to 7 years' experience).
  • Proven experience in M&A and business transactions, due diligence, and contract drafting is essential.
  • A proactive mindset, wanting to work in a mid-size team, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Work on high-profile mid-market transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, general corporate and commercial advisory, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, equity capital markets (ECM) transactions, joint ventures & strategic alliances, IPOs and secondary capital raisings, and due diligence & drafting reports.
  2. Collaborate with top-tier clients and provide sophisticated legal advice.
  3. Develop expertise in corporate M&A and work on high-stakes transactions.
