Home Care Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Noosa Heads. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality in-home care services to our customers, enabling them to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for older people.
  • Assist customers with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, helping customers to manage stress and anxiety.
  • Transport customers to appointments, fostering their independence and mobility.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements
  • You must care about assisting our aged community so they can live independently at home for longer.
  • You should have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • You should be able to handle challenging situations with patience and understanding, not taking things personally.
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days - Monday - Friday. No night or weekend work here.
  • You should be comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help.
