Technical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to contribute to our engineering and manufacturing operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with the production team, utilizing Prime Cut Software for daily tasks and preparing jobs digitally.
  • Efficient planning and organization of cutting layouts is essential to optimize the use of full sheets of steel, reducing waste and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
  • Compliance with safety and quality assurance standards is crucial in this role.
  • You will assist in materials planning, estimating, and workflow optimization, as well as contribute to technical documentation and reporting.
  • The successful candidate will be proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, PrimeCut, and Bystronic for nesting and part development.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma of Engineering – Technical or related is required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not necessary.
