About the Role

Paxus - Technology + Digital Talent is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Solutions Architect to join our team on a 12-month contract with extensions and flexible work-from-home options.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Cyber Security Initiatives: Develop, implement, and enhance cyber security architecture capabilities across the organization.
  2. Design and Implement Data Protection Capabilities: Focus on cryptography, Public Key Infrastructure, Data Loss Prevention, Data Rights Management, and Information Classification operationalization.
  3. Strategic Planning and Leadership: Lead strategic planning, initiative prioritization, and investment planning to progress improvements to the organization's digital strategy and enterprise security architecture.
  4. Collaborate with ICT Governance and Architecture Professionals: Develop roadmaps for strategic Data Protection improvements that achieve maximum business benefit.
  5. Advise on Data Protection Capability Areas: Provide expertise to ICT solution architects, cyber security consultants, and other solution delivery stakeholders on Data Protection capability areas.
  6. Deliver Using Agile Methodologies: Utilize agile methodologies and lean methods to deliver solutions.
  7. Contribute to Cyber Security Risk Assessments and Incident Response: Contribute to cyber security risk assessments and incident response when requested.
  8. Produce Cyber Security Architecture Artefacts: Produce concise, targeted, and useful cyber security architecture artefacts and other technical documentation.
  9. Operate in Accordance with Legislative Requirements: Operate in accordance with legislative requirements and procedural requirements relating to procurement.
  10. Lead Performance Excellence: Set clear direction, performance standards, and expectations for individuals and teams.
  11. Foster Cooperative Working Relationships: Foster cooperative and productive working relationships with stakeholders, internal and external audit organizations, and Council ICT employees.
