Clinical Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a Clinical Specialist to join our Cardiology Service. The successful candidate will adopt a multidisciplinary approach in delivering specialist care across the healthcare continuum.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide diagnostic and procedural services for patients with cardiac conditions.
- Conduct Echocardiography, Stress Imaging, Cardiac Computed Tomography, Heart Failure Services, Cardiac Rehabilitation Services, and Chest Pain Assessment Services.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Specialist Cardiologist (or equivalent).
- Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging subspecialty training with accreditation in Level 2 Adult Echocardiography as per CSANZ requirements (or equivalent).
- Evidence of active participation in a Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD).
- Demonstrate clinical and academic research skills and experience.
Total remuneration package of up to $528,432 p.a., comprising salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a., employer superannuation contribution, leave loading, and other benefits.
