About the Role

We are seeking experienced and dedicated agency nurses to join our team in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.

As a Registered Nurse with Cornerstone Medical Recruitment, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive work environment, providing high-quality care to patients in medical and surgical units.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Monitoring and documenting patient conditions and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
  • Administering medications, IVs, and other treatments as prescribed by medical professionals
  • Educating patients and families about health conditions, surgical procedures, and recovery plans
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to healthcare policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical nursing
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays (penalties apply)
