Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and proficient Internal Sales Representative to join our team in our Sydney Office. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing designated sales accounts and customers, assisting with sales calls, and maintaining trade counter areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Manage and develop designated sales accounts and customers to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with preparing and updating quotations, orders, purchasing, reporting, and maintaining pipelines.
  • Customer Service: Service and assist walk-in customers, maintaining trade counter areas and providing excellent customer service skills.
  • Sales Calls: Make sales calls to customers and prospects, monitoring and filtering sales calls to the team.
  • Enquiries: Assist with customer and prospect enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • ERP and CRM: Proactively maintain and update ERP and CRM systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
  • Warehouse Support: Provide general warehouse and technical support duties as required.
  • Safety and Quality: Demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and administrative skills.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, including a friendly telephone manner.
  • Microsoft Office Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Multitasking and Prioritization: Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise workflow in a demanding environment.
  • Team Player: A team player attitude and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Ability to show initiative and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Willingness to work hands-on in the warehouse as required.
  • OH&S and Sales Procedures: Understanding of OH&S and sales procedures.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Internal/External/Customer Services Sales Experience: Internal/external/customer services sales experience.
  • Forklift License: Current Forklift License.
  • Motivation to Learn: Motivation to learn and progress into other roles within the business.
